Meditation

My essence my inner light travels the Heavens, the Earth and the Seas.
I am awed at the beauty, the magnitude is scarcely fathomable to me.
Constellations with the insight of the ages and the road map to be followed.
As I unfurl my wings to their full expanse, It opens my ribcage as well as my heart.
I encounter great lights traversing the night, each emitting Pure brightness
Each one individual, no two alike.
To the Earth I glide, whisking by towering trees that crescendo in time.
I'm captivated by the seductive colors of the folliage, the mesmerizing scents that they emit.
I was perched upon a mountain conversing with the stones, they eloquently told me about the forming of the Earth. Each had a different version but all were equally accurate according to their respective Vistas.
Diving leagues under the Sea I'm emerged in a world foreign, intriguing, it speaks of tranquility.
This voyage begins at the end of the day as I exit this world and weightlessly float to my favorite place.
I embark on this journey from another port also, I sit in Padmasana with my hands in Anjali Mudra...
Puraka inhale, Rechaka exhale, bring my mind to rest and arrive at Samadhi...release and I soar.

Nostalgia

Draw the shades to your waking life

Transcend the cosmos, leaving your body behind

Weightless you wander through time

Immersed in precious memories under the cloak of night

You take my hand in yours and lead me to your door

You trace my skin and say how soft it is

I kisss your eyes and caress your brow

I brush my lips across your open mouth

I can taste your sweet breath even now
I miss the sensation of your tender touch

Your gentle whispers cooing in my ear

Your hand wrapped around my waist
as you draw me closer than before
I feel your energy merge with mine for the last time.
