Mooshi

Joanne Macko
My heart swells at the thought of your existence, to know that from a mere dream you came to me.
A dear and precious angel sent to earth for the purpose of love, nothing more and nothing less.
I wandered in the nothingness of the wilderness hoping for a glimpse of that face so full of grace.
Overflowing with anticipation you waited on the edge of the precipice to enter my womb and complete the cycle.
Darling child how much you will teach me and expect nothing in return but a mother's love and affection.
I knew you before the world was formed, A void to be filled with your perfect form.
You had chosen me as your vessel, a place to call your own, a safe and nurturing haven, a force to feed your soul.
You danced inside of me, excitedly you jumped while hearing sounds~seeking out their origins.
An explorer, intrigued with life itself and everything it holds, you set out to find answers and write a few of your own.
A philosopher's mind, a prophet's vision, a warrior's valor, a knowing soul with the pure heart of a child....these are the truths that separate you from the ordinary and make you extraordinary.
I consider myself blessed among women to have been chosen to carry and nurse you.
Fortunate am I, consider my heart~overflowing as I hold my dear treasure to my bosom with love.

Arimatsu-Sun

Joanne Macko

Orange and yellow reds and bright white
warm rays of sunshine filled with love and delight
You Sustain us merely through nutrients from our radiant mother star
Tending to us with maternal  regard.
cloaked within your devoted embrace, I feel your gentle hand guiding me away from life's quickened pace.
Like the rudder of a ship, you steer my way home.
From your fiery throne you shine on us all, with sensibility staying true to your character alone.
Showing yourself to those who would look, tutoring us in the art of beauty, truth and simplicity.
Keeping us draped under your canopy of purity, burning blue and white consumed by your radiance.
Here alone can we let go of race, creed and ego.
