Farewell
Farewell to gernerosity, for it serves me not Adieu my sweet coquette, her effect is to violate my lot Inspired once to love, now to die would be as sweet Recoiled within my loneliness, to survive gregariously Scrutinized, judged and sentenced through the eyes of your jury Propelled to justify the tenor of my character Repulsed by my reflection, transformed back to my heinous identity To hide away in darkness from all who seek to enslave me Why do they prey, what is it they find in me Turn from me, look not upon my naivete' My goodness is the very thing that betrays me, easily I trust to find a new wound Do not pity what I've become, I chose my own path Remember me if it hurts you not, forget if the memory causes you want
